Liberty University Group
In January we finished up China Crash Course at Xi’an Eurasia University for a group of eager learners from Liberty University.
One highlight of our semester program at X’an Eurasia University was a trip to western china where students experienced beautiful scenery and diverse minority cultures. Read about the SRS Qinghai Trip here.
Summer China Crash Course
We hosted 14 great students during our in 2015 summer group programs who enjoyed building relationships on campus and exploring the great city of Xi’an.
Xijing University Partnership
During the summer of 2016 Xijing University hosted a group for Silk Road Start’s China Crash Course for the first time. We look forward to cooperating for more programs in future.
Silk Road Start 2015 Weddings
2 couples from Silk Road Starts program were married in 2015. Silk Road Start’s program founder Joseph and Colleens’ wedding ending up being a bit of a reunion including many Silk Road Start alumni and Xi’an Expats.
The fall semester included a fun group studying at Xi’an Eurasia University. Here they are pictured here at a going away/Christmas party.
Western Sydney University Short-Term Group
We partnered with Xi’an Eurasia Universities school of Humanities to host our first ever group from Australia. 9 students and 2 staff from Western Sydney University enjoyed learning the basics of Chinese culture and survival language skills in our China Crash Course, tours of historical sites in the afternoon, and activities with local students in the evenings.
